LaraSWIMMING COACH
I have been swimming competitively since the age of 9 and competed at national and international level since the age of 13. Highlights of my swimming career include competing at the Commonwealth and Olympic Trials, in 2010 and 2012 respectively, as well as becoming national champion for my age group in 2009. From the age of 13 I trained in Plymouth at one of the most prestigious clubs in the country alongside many high profile swimmers including Commonwealth, World and Olympic Champions. This advanced level of training means I pay particular attention to detail, focusing on the very technical aspects of each stroke to improve performance in the water. I relish the opportunity to share my love of the sport with swimmers of all abilities. I currently attend University College London where I am a committed member of the UCL swimming club, and take pride in representing my university all over the country. I am combining my passion for swimming with studying an integrated masters degree in Earth Science. |
