JamieSWIMMING COACH
Jamie graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science, specialising in sports biomechanics, with a dissertation in plyometric training and the effects on dive start times. Jamie has been a swimming coach for over 15 years, coaching levels from special needs children to high level athletes training for competitions. Jamie is a highly technical coach; with an excellent ability to identify, isolate and correct his clients technique problems. Jamie has been coaching triathletes of different levels for a number of years and has great experience with triathlon swim techniques. He swam competitively at county level in backstroke and also went on to represent southern England in water-polo. Jamie has been swimming all his life and understands the need to find new methods of aiding a client with their specific needs and strives to find the best method for each and every client. Jamie believes swimming is a art and a science; and therefore needs to be broken down and rebuilt to get the most effective and efficient stroke. |
