You’ll often hear people say that swimming is the best exercise for numerous reasons. It is referred to as the five star form of exercise as it makes you breathe more heavily, the water acts as resistance training, it is low impact on your body, tones your whole body working all key muscle groups, it’s a fantastic boost to your heart and lungs and it can be more relaxing than running as the water takes your body weight.
Our SwimFit classes are available to swimmers of different levels. You will be performing fitness training in the water, so you are a required to be able to swim a minimum of 800 metres. Our SwimFit classes are designed for swimmers of different speeds, so why not come along and try a class?
Duration and times: Each SwimFit class is 1 hour. Weekly classes are at the CityPoint Club on Monday at 12.30 – 1.15pm and the Chelsea Club on Monday at 7 – 8pm (non members welcome). Price vary at different venues, please check our swimming pricelist.
